Fergus McCullough

Fergus McCullough is the dynamic director of operations at Progress Ireland, a forward-thinking Irish think tank. Prior to this role, he played a pivotal part in shaping the success of Fuse, a UK-based energy startup valued at $80 million, where he was the second employee and helped drive its rapid growth. As a co-founder of The Fitzwilliam, a trailblazing Irish journal of ideas, Fergus has contributed significantly to the intellectual discourse in Ireland. His innovative thinking has earned him prestigious grants from Tyler Cowen’s Emergent Ventures, and in 2023-24, he was selected as a Fellow at Civic Future in the UK, further solidifying his impact on the future of public policy and governance.
