Martin Lousteau

Martín Lousteau is an economist who has been a teacher and university professor. He is currently a National Senator for the City of Buenos Aires and the leader of Evolución, a movement that was created to transform and modernize the Radical Civic Union. Now, he aspires to become the next Mayor of the City of Buenos Aires, the city where he was born and that he enjoys every day. His goal is to serve, not to serve himself, embracing discomfort to courageously reform the reality that has caused pain for so many years. He counts on the support of others to achieve this.


Martin is a former Minister of Economy and Production of Argentina. At the age of 37, he was the youngest person to occupy this office in more than five decades. He was also the Argentine Ambassador to the United States.
