Seán Keyes

Seán Keyes is the executive director of Progress Ireland, a philanthropic initiative focused on addressing key challenges in Irish public policy, especially in housing and infrastructure. Prior to this role, Keyes has had a distinguished career in finance, serving as a finance columnist for The Currency, where he specializes in equity research and provides in-depth analysis of both Irish and international stock markets. His career in financial journalism also includes editorial work at MoneyWeek, the UK's best-selling financial magazine, and a position at Agora Financial UK, where he wrote about technology stocks and small-cap investments.


Keyes holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Trinity College Dublin and an MA in Economics from University College Dublin.
