Fancy a day trip? Coming to Kilkenomics for a day of engaging debate and comedy couldn’t be easier, and cheaper, thanks to the array of transport links to Kilkenny. For young adults and students, single train tickets from Dublin only cost €5.80 or €11.60 for a return. Route 600 from Busaras and Red Cow is every 2 hours. The tickets are only 24 euros return for the day, or 12 euros if you have a young adult or student leap card. The last bus leaves Kilkenny at 21:45. The bus tickets run every two hours and tickets can be purchased here. The trains run hourly from 7 am until 6 pm and tickets can be purchased here.
