Homes and Hierarchy

Homes and Hierarchy

The world is divided into two camps, those who own their homes and those who don’t. Homeowners have seen their status, wealth, and influence rise rapidly over the past decade; those who don’t own their own homes have seen their stake in society falter. Because housing wealth is the conveyor belt to prosperity,  this divide between the “haves” and “have nots“ is exacerbating social, demographic, and regional inequalities, leading to huge lurches in voting intentions and political affiliation. When is this going to stop and who is going to stop it?
