Barry Murphy
About
Barry Murphy is an Irish comedian, known for being one of the founders of The Comedy Cellar in Dublin. He is also known for starring in RTE’s comedy show ‘Après Match’. Often performing under the guise of his German alter-ego, Gunther Grun, he has been praised as one of ‘The 10 Kings of Irish Comedy’ of the last 20 years by Hot Press. In 2009, he was nominated for an IFTA for Script Television for ‘Little White Lie’.
