Catríona Cahill is head of research with the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission. Prior to this she was an economist with the Limerick Chamber of Commerce and previously a Lecturer in Economics at the University of Limerick and a researcher in the Bilateral Trade Division of the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment. A graduate of the University of Limerick with a PhD in economics, her research interests include Public Economics, Transport Economics, Commercialisation and Productivity Analysis. She is a member of the Privatisation and Public Private Partnership (P4) research group which is comprised of researchers from UL, Cornell University, Monash University and the University of Barcelona. She is a member of the CIRIEC International Scientific Commission on Public Enterprise.
