Neil Brady is Co-Founder of CaliberAI, a Trinity College Dublin ‘spinout’ that uses AI to help publishers manage their risk of publication of defamation, hate and other reputationally damaging content.

A former journalist with The Guardian and Storyful, Neil founded CaliberAI, together with his father and ex-Irish Times Editor, Conor, in the wake of the populist backlash of 2016.

Now, as generative AI threatens an unprecedented wave of information chaos, and society is forced to grapple with complex questions of machine agency, CaliberAI’s technology is increasingly being deployed to manage machine based output, as well as human.
